Hollyside Lodge

Highly recommended, will be staying again in the near future

Pros: Lovely clean lodge, well thought out with attention paid to minor detail. All requirements catered, basic cooking facilities (with fridge microwave, toaster, plates and cutlery, incredible bathroom with separate shower and large bath, comfy bed, small dining area, nice wall mounted tv and good Wi-Fi. Nice outside area and allocated parking, Lovely pub next door that provides take out meals and even let me take the drinks round to the lodge. Added bonus for families is the 2 adjoining lodges can be rented together, with internal lockable door that allows easy access.

Cons: Tough to find fault, the only minor thing would be to provide better hangers (thats how hard it is to find something to improve!)

Pros: This was a very cute property. Everything had been well thought out and well executed. From providing tea and coffee to a toothbrush. Very clean. Very cozy and warm. Bathroom was large and inviting.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The location was beautiful, host was so friendly and very welcoming, the Lodge was beautiful and very clean, had everything we needed and bed was comfy, will definitely return.

Perfect for a getaway

Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. The lights were on which made it very welcoming on a winters evening. There was everything you needed for a holiday. We ate at the local pub because it was almost next door. The meals were reasonably priced and good quality. The location was perfect. Will definitely return.

Cons: There was nothing to not like.

Lovely stay at Hollyside Lodge

Pros: Excellent stay again, very warm and comfortable, always nice to stay here, close to the motorway network is convenient but far enough away to enjoy quiet area to relax, all Excellent as usual.

Great place for a short stay

Pros: We booked as a stop over on the way to Scotland and it was in the perfect location and had all we needed for a one night stay. Instant porridge pots were a good addition and the nearby pub did a great takeaway

Cons: The mattress was a bit soft for our taste but comfortable enough for a one night stay

Pros: Only stayed over one night with our 2 dogs, lovely comfortable stop over thank you 😊
