Well situated for city centre facilities, a comfy accommodation with pleasant staff.

Pros: Great B&B - I was upgraded from a single to small double on arrival. Parking was easy with the provided parking permit. The room was a decent size for a single person. The landlady was very pleasant and helpful.

Cons: No hot water in the bathroom sink, though the en-suite shower was available to use.

My go to stopover for my drive to Scotland.

Pros: A very friendly host met me on arrival, gave me a permit for my car and then showed me to my room. I had a comfortable nights sleep, with a decent shower in the morning, followed by an excellent cooked breakfast. Everything that I wished for during my one night rest en route to Scotland.

Pros: The b&b was lovely. Our host leanne was so helpful told us a few lovely restaurants to eat . Breakfast was amazing, only 10min walk into town, it was a good break .

Excellent overnight stay in Carlisle.

Pros: The property was a lovely old house in a central location. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Leanne was so welcoming and also stored our luggage so we could sightsee without baggage. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

Ideal for a short stay visiting Carlisle with an excellent host.

Pros: Accommodation met all our needs. Excellent host. Lovely cooked vegetarian breakfast with good choice of continental options. Room was quiet and comfortable. It was good to have two chairs. The location suited us well- it was in easy walking distance of the main city sights and shops etc. as well as walks along the river birdwatching. It was also only a short drive to visit the Solway Firth and RSPB reserve. The parking permit was helpful and allowed us to park in the road next to the accommodation. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Cons: It took a while for hot water to come through the sink tap, so it is worth persevering with.
