Thoroughly recommended

Pros: Lovely warm property. Great entrance lounge with lots of helpful items (maps, chargers, dog towels etc). Friendly and helpful people on site and nothing too much trouble. Great to be able to park up safely and then just stroll to the pub and grasmere. Lovely food in the pub, great vegan food choices too.

Pros: Lovely time in Grasmere! Could not have asked for a better location to stay in town; located right next to the lake and we were able to easily access all our destinations on foot. The hosts were very kind and helpful in booking a table for dinner! Would definitely stay at this charming lake house again!

Great winter short break

Pros: Warm, welcoming and comfortable room, well equipped throughout. Lots of useful information on area and surroundings.

Cons: Woken up at 2.00 am by kerfuffle from room above.

Welcoming, comfy, convenient hotel with Great Lake view and badgers in the garden.

Pros: Welcoming place; on arrival we were greeted with Port and chocolates as it was new year. The hotel also had a sauna, badgers in the garden, short walk to the lake and a few minutes walk to the centre. The owners also held a free tasting on New Years Eve in their distillery. Bed was comfy and hotel dog friendly with lots of throws available for us to use. Tea/coffee also freely available. The owners had really thought through what guests might want (walking sticks, umbrellas, dog treats)

Cons: Room was a bit cold as was the guest lounge/seating area. There was an extra radiator in our room but still cold

Pros: Everything. Our penthouse was super spacious and comfortable. The view is beautiful. The location is perfect. We were lucky to see the badger on the lawn in front of the house. The pub offers delicious food and drinks. Wanna come back to explore more.

Lovely stay at a beautiful location, my two dogs loved it as well will definitely be back.

Pros: Location right in the heart of the village, easy check in and out. Clean and cosy rooms with plenty of tea and coffee (need my coffee). Friendly and welcoming staff, laid back atmosphere, would definitely stay again.

Cons: Nothing it was all excellent

Excellent 1st visit to Grasmere ideal accommodation

Pros: The Cottage had everything you need . Comfortable bed ,lovely bathroom . Great location and little extras available in the main building. Ideal for a break with a dog. 2 bedrooms and very cosy . Would recommend. The owner also excellent communication and very helpful. Will return
