Fantastic place to stay in Grasmere

Pros: Excellent location in the heart of the village. Plenty of car parking. Wonderful view from the Tweed suite that we stayed in. Warm was room and comfortable. Plenty of options for breakfast (although we thought 8:15 start for breakfast was a bit too late if you are planning on a long walk). Restaurant next door served excellent food.

Cons: Only comment would be that the breakfast room was very cold in the mornings. To be expected in an older property and in February! Also, the minor comment about the start time for breakfast.

Pros: Beautiful building and decor, friendly staff, dog friendly, hot tub was a bonus, dinner and breakfast delicious and had ev charge. Great location to explore Grasmere…just love the Lake District

Lovely , would stay again .

Pros: Lovely hotel in pretty grounds. Lots of character and lovely decor. spacious room, comfy bed. Nice toiletries, very good breakfast and evening meal. Enjoyed the bar with the real fire .

Cons: I didn’t find the pillows very comfortable but husband thought they were fine .

A wonderful break in a beautiful location and superb accommodation.

Pros: Superb location, great team. Breakfast was brilliant. Can’t be complimentary enough. Stayed in the Mews 1 suite, extremely clean, great setup, even put birthday balloons up for my partners birthday. 10/10 stay.

We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay again.

Pros: This is our second visit to stay at Tweedies. It is in a lovely location, nice comfortable rooms and very good breakfast.

Cons: We were allocated a dog friendly room, although we didn’t have a dog. The room was very nice and clean, but i feel dog friendly rooms should only be for guests with dogs.
