Friendly stay with great food.

Pros: Food in the pub downstairs was amazing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room had everything in we needed.

Cons: The bed mattress was a little old and springy but still slept fine. 😊

Happy with our booking and value for money

Pros: A relaxed environment in a busy Saturday evening village pub. Very efficient and helpful staff, with quick meal service and very good food. A comfortable room with facilities appropriate to the price and a friendly host. Also a quiet rural location, ideal for a weekend away.

Great on Friday but disappointed on Saturday night.

Pros: Staff on the Friday night were very attentive, friendly and efficient. The meal I had was excellent. The room met expectations.

Cons: Persistent electronic beep that continued throughout the night (not in room). On Saturday night a member of staff (not on duty on Friday) asked me to move from the table I was sitting at because he needed it for a large group. He neither apologised or offered me an alternative. I went outside to finish my beer and didn't bother to dine. A shame considering my Friday night positive experience.

Pros: The location was very good. The staff were lovely. The room was good. We will use it again and recommend it to family and friends. Everyone we spoke to said that the food is good. They were right.

Cons: The hot water was very hot and it was difficult to cool it down.
