Pros: Staff were very friendly, breakfast was lovely. Room was clean and very comfortable. Good location and easy to find. Owners are easy to reach in case of any issues or questions. Rooms were well stocked with tea, coffee, milk etc and free refills were available

Lovely guest house

Pros: Lovely location, clean and comfortable great breakfast included. Kind and welcoming hosts. Would stay again.

Cons: Minor things, cold white bulbs in bedside lamps and sparkly bathroom floor, super minor personal preferences. Nothing bad to say!

Great stay, would book again.

Pros: Great location and a short walk into Keswick. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious.

Great value stay in a great location.

Pros: Great base for exploring the Northern Lake District. Parking outside the property. Room was small but cosy and warm. We enjoyed our vegetarian breakfasts in the morning.

Cons: Heating was noisy at times in our room and neighbouring guests were also noisy late at night at one point but on the whole the room was quiet.

Comfy, friendly, convenient, good value

Pros: Friendly staff, massive room, big modern shower/bathroom, lovely breakfast (we had salmon and eggs) and only a 15 minute walk into Keswick. Great value for money

It’s such a warm and welcoming place to stay

Pros: The location was beautiful, it was also so clean and all the staff were super welcoming and friendly it was honestly such a lovely place to stay i honestly didn’t want to leave

Cons: I understand that the building is rather old and obviously with age come a few small things but as being a guest staying on the bottom floor when there were other guests upstairs every time they were up and about you could hear all the floorboards creaking and the walls were kind of thin so if people were talking you could hear it rather clearly but again I understand the building is old and it probably doesn’t help that I sleep light anyway
