Excellent

Pros: Great quiet location. Superb views. Lovely bedrooms. Excellent breakfast. Wonderful hosts and family. Great for dogs - he loved breakfast too. Lovely guest lounge with no TV which is great. Fridge in lounge and microwave for your use. Definitely recommend. The Sun Inn pub about 5/6 miles away is super and lovely food.

Cons: Not a moan by any means but if yiu need shops you have to travel to Keswick or Cockermouth.

Perfect for a break in the lakes!

Pros: Breakfast was fantastic - sausages were 👌🏻 They were also so welcoming to our dog, he also loved his sausages each morning. The owners also sent us some really helpful recommendations for dinners so we could book ahead.

Cons: Our private bathroom was not attached to the bedroom, which was a bit inconvenient.

Lovely hosts, room requires update.

Pros: Friendly hosts who were very attentive during breakfast. Nice chill out lounge with honesty bar. Breakfast very nice.

Cons: Separate bathroom with no heat and shower curtain with mould at the bottom of it.Double Room quite small for two adults. Lounge with a tv would be great.

Pros: A beautiful place to stay ,ran by Virginia and Ben ,nice and spacious, the room was ample for our needs and the use of the living room was a nice touch. the room we had ,had excellent views of bassenthwaite lake and surrounding mountains,the breakfast was perfectly cooked each day (Including our dogs sausage each day, The parking was also excellent.
