Pros: Very comfortable, ample parking, beautiful interior

Cons: Shower head could do with being fixed/cleaned or replaced, but still worked well. Perfect apart from that

Pros: In a lovely secluded area, don’t hear any outside noise. We stayed in the winter and it lovely and warm for us. It felt like a home and was very spacious.

The house was so nice and big! It had everything we needed we felt right at home!

Pros: Amazing hospitality, clean, spacious, everything you’d need was catered for. We were upgraded at no extra cost due to a booking issue. The place was amazing. Would definitely like to return and for longer. Great location too!

Pros: Lovely, comfortable, spacious house in peaceful location. The owner made sure we had everything we needed and we appreciated the extra touches like fresh flowers and continental breakfast and chocolates provided. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. It exceeded our expectations and was a perfect, relaxing stay.

Perfect stay

Pros: A very warming welcome from the owner. The location, property, cleanliness and comfort was second to none. The attention to detail was evident both in the cottages and the surroundings. An added bonus was the complimentary breakfast cereals, savouries and fruit. I was staying in the area for work so the fast wi-fi was a great help to me. My wife came with me to explore the surrounding areas whilst I was working. As the premises felt so comfortable and a home from home, she actually relaxed in the house and gardens during the day. This will now be our go to stay when in the Cumbria area.

Cons: Nothing could improve our experience. Our only disappointment was that we didn`t have time to experience the Cumbrian breakfast. This will definitely be addressed on our next visit.

Wonderful place to stay

Pros: Such a wonderful place to stay. We were warmly welcomed by Janette who quickly showed us around and made us feel very at home. The. apartment was so clean, comfy and well equipped. We even had fresh flowers. A Continental breakfast was left for us, also milk, tea, coffee , water, juice etc. Much appreciated. We had a relaxing time in lovely surroundings and will not look for anywhere else to stay. Our thanks to our hosts and we definitely recommend it.
