The Penta

Pros: Clean toilet and bath. And i loved the breakfast area!

Cons: Nothing. It's all good.

Pros: Breakfast advertised as Basic Continental but more than adequate enough - no problems at all.

Pros: Location was excellent. Parking wasn't hard but on street. Good breakfast. Lift to upper floors.

Cons: Bed wasn't great as edge of mattress wasnt well supported and fell out of bed when laying too close to the side. Management claims the mattresses were only 2 months old.

Simply Superb!

Pros: Room great, clean hotel, breakfast inc was basic but nice, staff nice. The best hotel I've stayed at on the Isle of Man

Definitely recommend - half the price of the place down the road that I usually use.

Pros: Good value for money - large rooms - clean. Basic breakfast but that’s what I wanted and was included anyway.

Cons: The view from my room was pretty rubbish but not a major problem.

Brilliant short stay at The Penta

Pros: Due to a mix up booking the ferry we arrived at 6.30 am . The Penta very kindly allowed us to check in and have a bit if breakfast . On departure they opened the breakfast room especiially for us as we had to leave early.. The staff were so friendly and pleasant

Cons: The lift is quite small and slow

A Perfect Stay at The Penta

Pros: The staff were great, even checked us in at 11am as our rooms were ready already - what a service. Rooms were nice and big, so was the bathroom. Beds were very comfy too. The hotel is in a great location and despite storm Amy raging outside we felt very safe and comfortable . Have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We are planning to return to the Isle of Man next month and will be staying at The Penta again.

Weekend in IOM

Pros: Clean spacious rooms. Good sized bathroom. Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants in Douglas.

Most enjoyable recommendable to all

Pros: Buffet style breakfast this hotel is in a great location to explore the area. Very quiet in the hotel when we stayed.

Cons: Bed mattress was a little hard but not too bad

Pros: This is one of the best rooms I've ever stayed in. It was large, very welcoming and very well laid-out. It had a separate bathroom, which was twice the size of most other hotel bathrooms you'll find anywhere. The hotel also provided a free continental breakfast each morning which is unheard of in other hotels. I arrived early due to an early morning flight and my room was already available for check-in which was an added bonus.

Cons: The only thing this particular room lacked was a sea view, but otherwise it ticked every box.
