Originally an 18th-century Lakeland farmhouse, Embleton Spa Hotel is a family-run hotel offering apartments, suites, and en-suite rooms. Pros: Room was bigger than expected. Has eveything and more we needed in the room including complimentry tea/coffee and biscuits. Staff are super friendly. They even gave the children extra board games to play in the room. Food was nice. We had the pool area to ourself so that was an added bonus. Highly recommended

Cons: Evening menu is quite small, but the food was still good

Perfect location for some nice walks

Pros: Lovely apartment well equipped. Pool really warm and good range of equipment in gym. Beautiful views from the hotel. Staff were really helpful and pleasant.

Pros: Embleton spa is a beautiful house in a nice quiet location. The staff are superb. The rooms are superb and the food is superb. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay. We will be returning again.

Very very friendly and welcoming staff

Pros: Super friendly staff throughout. Gorgeous location and views. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Very good value.

Cons: Uncomfortable bed - which after a long walk is a shame. Room hadn't been cleaned very well including a full bin.

Fabulous family stay

Pros: Loved the location, the room was nice, loved the pool, steam room and hot tub.

Cons: Could do with some robes and disposable slippers for walking to and from the pool.

friendly and warm,

Pros: the food was excellent, particularly liked breakfast served rather than a buffet. lovely log fire. excellent views. bedroom small but confortable and clean staff very friendly.

Cons: the pool is not part of the hotel so had to check if we cold use it. needs a mirror for makeup and hair styling in the bedroom no lounge just the pub/dining room however lovely and warm charge for pets so didnt bring them

We loved our stay

Pros: The staff are very nice. We received a free upgrade to a bigger room, everything was perfect. The breakfast is delicious. The location is perfect for hikes

Cons: I didn’t like that the pool has the same ours for guests and members. Also the hot tub was unavailable
